"Some folks are just right for the job..." or so the saying goes... Opal Candy was born to create exciting and melodic music; a sentiment that their fans will echo with unbridled enthusiasm. Breaking into the Chicago rock scene in 2001, Opal Candy has since played all over the Chicagoland area and elsewhere throughout the Midwest. With emphasis on catchy & melodic songwriting along with accomplished musicianship, OC has gained much notoriety in Chicago for their high energy live show, musical prowess, and multi-faceted vocal attack. Their self-titled debut is Opal Candy's first full length offering. This 11 song effort is the manifestation of a wide range of life experiences, musical influences, and above all, a pure "love of the game" of making music. From the opening energy of "Fluid", to the dark and ethereal "Stone", this CD is pure heart and emotion. More recently, OC has finished up their latest CD...the 6 song EP, "35 MM Craze". This is the next chapter in the saga...take a taste of the Candy and listen for yourself!
